I bought the INSTANT POT IP-DUO60 in October this year. I found it really useful- easy to prepare and cook food especially meat kind. Besides all other good things about the POT such as quietness and safety, this is most convenient for the person like me who don’t like to cut meat. With this POT, I can simply dump the big chunk of meat, such as pork, beef or chicken bought from a super market into this pot and simply follow the recipe that came with the pot when I bought it. The dish really came out great. You don’t have to worry about the result because it almost couldn’t fail. That’s another good thing when you bought the POT. The Recipe is simple and delicious.

I was excited to try this so as soon as I got it I followed the manual setting brown rice recipe in the included cookbook instead of using the rice program button. I ended up with the best texture I've ever had in brown jasmine rice. Plus the aroma stayed in the pot, so the rice was really fragrant! I will have to read the manual to figure out how to use the rice program to see if it works as well, but it was super simple to just set it manually. This is the quietest rice cooker or pressure cooker I've ever seen (I've owned separate ones and one that was a combined cooker like this one). There was only quiet musical beeping when opening and closing the lid and one tiny whisper of steam throughout the whole cooking time. I couldn't tell it was on except the display was lit on the front and the metal part of the lid was hot to the touch (but not the sides). I could not tell when the cooking time ended, as I did not hear a chime when the pressure cycle ended. The automatic switch to warm holding is very nice, and it has a timer that continues to count up so you know how long the food has been holding. There is a condensation catcher on the back, but it wasn't needed at all. Everything stayed inside the pot. Some people have posted that their inner pot came clean like brand new, but mine shows rice grain marks. I don't care, it feels clean and I expect my cookware to show use. Just thought I'd report my different experience. I can't rate the other features or programs because I have not tried them yet, but I am very pleased with this purchase based upon my past experiences with rice cookers, pressure cookers, and combination cookers.
